The 18th annual World Export Development Forum will be hosted by the International Trade Centre in conjunction with the Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Industry of Zambia in Lusaka, Zambia from 11th to 13th September 2018. The event will focus on best practices in scaling up trade and investment in Africa, and spotting innovative opportunities in and beyond the region.

The World Export Development Forum (WEDF) is an annual event that is organized by the International Trade Centre (ITC), the only United Nations organization with an exclusive focus on assisting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to internationalize. WEDF is dedicated to the development of SMEs and provides an issue-focused setting for policymakers, trade & investment support institutions and business leaders to gain practical understanding in trade competitiveness. It also provides a platform for business operators to network and meet with potential partners.
